A short film about endurance, memory, and the lasting strength of a mother's love.
Lucas, a professional cyclist, reaches his physical limit during the final climb of a brutal mountain race. As exhaustion takes over, a childhood memory reminds him of the one lesson his mother taught him: keep pushing.
The Last Push is a condensed 1.5-minute adaptation of a short film script I previously developed as a 15-minute film. For this project, I challenged myself to reduce the original story to its essential emotional moments while exploring how much storytelling could be achieved within a much shorter runtime.
This is also my first exploration into AI filmmaking, created as an assignment for an AI filmmaking course I recently completed.
